For independent garages
We’re talking to independent garages ahead of launch. If you’d like to see local jobs with clear detail, and keep control over what you quote for, we’d like to hear from you.
What you’d get
Clear job requests
Vehicle, job and the details that matter, such as front or rear and pads or discs, so you can price accurately without phone calls.
You choose what to quote
Labour only, supply and fit, both, or pass. You set your own prices and the dates you can do the work.
No obligation on customer parts
You’re never required to fit parts you’re not happy with. If a garage prefers to supply its own parts, it can simply quote supply and fit.
A chance to confirm parts first
Where a customer is buying parts, the plan is for you to confirm they’re suitable before an order is placed.
What we’d ask of garages
- Quotes that are accurate and honoured.
- Honest availability and fitting terms.
- Clear information on any warranty on your work, including how it applies to customer-supplied parts.
We’re at an early stage and can’t promise a volume of work yet. We’ll share the terms with garages before launch.
Questions garages ask
Do I have to fit parts the customer buys?
No. You decide what to quote for. You can offer labour only, supply and fit, or both.
What does it cost to take part?
We’ll share the terms with garages ahead of launch.
Who is responsible if a customer-supplied part is faulty?
That should be agreed between you and the customer before the work. We’d encourage garages to state clearly how their warranty applies to parts they didn’t supply.
